Our goal at Mayfair-Plymouth Church is to bring families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and into genuine community with the larger church body. We believe that this happens best through our adult classes, fellowship groups, children and youth ministries, and small group ministry that provide a more personal atmosphere of friendship, honesty, and accountability within the church. These groups offer the families at Mayfair-Plymouth Church a chance to not only study the Bible, but to grow together through prayer, encouragement, service, and Christian love.
Family Night: They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42)
One of the ways we do this at Mayfair-Plymouth is through Family Night. A delicious meal open to everyone in the church is served each Wednesday (September through May) at 5:45 p.m. for a requested donation of $2 per person. Following the meal at 6:15 p.m., several activities for all ages are available from adult classes to youth activities, fun stuff for the kids, and rehearsal for the church choir. We believe that fellowship within the church encourages us to become devoted followers of Jesus, willing to grow, learn and serve alongside each other.
Adult Classes: Learning about God through adult classes is a great way to connect with Him and with others in the church. Classes are offered at various times throughout the week. There are several opportunities for you to get connected, from verse-by-verse Bible studies to DVD studies that address specific needs such as marriage or raising kids. Classes are changing all the time, so check out the Current Classes page for the classes going on now.
Small Groups: Here at Mayfair-Plymouth our Small Groups range from 2-3 people up to about 15. They're a great place to get to know others in a warm, friendly and fun environment while gaining a deeper understanding of the message of Jesus Christ. There are several groups at Mayfair-Plymouth that meet in homes, restaurants, and at church. Whether you have years of biblical knowledge or are still seeking a relationship with God and have lots of questions, our Small Groups are designed to help you grow in your faith while encouraging others to grow in theirs. Contact Anna Woodward at 419-476-7093 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
September Fellowship: The mature, over-55 crowd at Mayfair-Plymouth stays active through September Fellowship. Bring a potluck dish and join the fellowship every first Saturday of the month at 1 p.m. as they hear information on topics related to this stage in life. Speakers are often invited to share their expertise in various areas of interest.
Youth and Children's Ministries: Children, as young as infants right up through the teen years, are always learning and exploring. That's why at Mayfair-Plymouth we seek to impact the lives of children to help them develop a love for Jesus and a desire to follow Him. It is our goal to partner with families as they grow together in their relationship with Jesus, and to help their children understand the importance of belonging to a church community. Go to the Youth and Children's pages to see how we accomplish this purpose.
