All Church Prayer Walk

Our Advent theme this year is “God Draws Near.” One of the ways to create a closer relationship with God is through prayer. To that end, all are invited Sunday, December 17, at 12:00 noon for a Prayer Walk in and around our Jackman Road property. Bring your walking shoes and join us for a time of prayer as we fellowship with the Lord and one another, praying for the outreach ministry to which God is calling us at this new location. Dress for comfort.

Missions Team Mitten Tree

The Missions Team will be collecting hats, scarves, mittens and gloves during the month of December. Please bring in your donations and place them on the Christmas tree in the upper concourse near the elevator. We will distribute them to a local ministry in January.

Youth Ugly Baking Day

Youth are invited to come to service on Sunday, Deceber 10, wearing your ugliest of ugly Christmas sweaters and stay after service to bake wth us! We will order pizza and bake Christmas treats to take home AND share with our church family later that evening at the Church Family Christmas Program. Pick-up time will be 2:00pm for Ugly Baking Day. All youth bring a 2 liter to share.

Kroger Community Rewards

With all of the holiday shopping everybody will be doing, it’s a good time to re-enroll your Kroger card for Kroger Community Rewards. The rewards program benefits both our Missions Ministry and the Youth Ministry. Go to and follow the prompts to re-enroll your card or set up a new account. If you need help, please call the church office at 419-476-7093.

Walk Your Faith Ministry

Join Pastor Rupert every Wednesday morning at 8:30am at the Franklin Park Mall food court for a new ministry that involves walking. You can walk in a group or with your friends, or by yourself, at any pace or for any distance you want. Or, if you just want to come and start the day with coffee and a prayer and hold a table for us while we walk, you are welcome! After our walk, we'll read a daily devitional, pray, and be on our way by 9:20am. We hope you can join us!

Wednesday Nights @MPC

Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 pm for Wednesday Nights @MPC. There will be activities for children ages 4 years old through 6th grade; the youth in grades 7 through 12 will meet for Wednesday Night Refuel; and we have adult studies that meet in the church sanctuary and church library. There's something for everybody at Wednesday Nights @MPC.

    Answered Prayers

Do you want to encourage others? Have you experienced an Answer to Prayer? If so, we'd all like to hear about it! We will share these answers occasionally in our worship services as an encouragement to our church family. Here's how to be an encourager: Look for the Prayer Tin on the Information Center. Inside, take a blank notecard and write one or two sentences. (Only use names if you have permission to do so.) Place your Answered Prayer card back into the Tin. That's all it takes for God to use you to bless someone else!
